Bhí sé ina ionadaí d’Éirinn ag an Páras Biennale in 1965, bhuaigh sé an chéad duais sa chomórtas Irish Exhibition of Living Art in 1967, agus bronnadh gradam O’Malley air ón Institiúid Chultúrtha Gael-Mheiriceánach.
